I uploaded a photo onto my site recently and came across a problem I've never encountered before. When "saved for web" on photoshop, the image has saturation added to it but when it's uploaded onto my site it's like the saturation was never applied. The file itself was an NEF/RAW file converted into a jpeg so it could be made viewable and all other image settings seem normal - RGB, 8bit etc. Anyone know what to do to get the saturation back on the web image?

Your problem is most likely color profile. I suspect you are using Adobe RGB in photoshop, and when you save it, you lose the saturation, because your browser can't display the entire range of colors available in Adobe RGB. Your monitor most likely uses sRGB or something similar. What you should do before saving for web is convert the colors to sRGB. Use the "perceptual" method, and it will try to match the colors as closely as possible.
