Is Adobe Photoshop 7.0 good? It came with the the computer, should I get a different one. If so what?

Please don't take this personally. I mean this is the most constructive way even though it may sound harsh, honestly...

Photoshop 7.0 is very powerful and is full featured photo editing professional software as is all Adobe Photoshop programs. Is v7.0 the "latest and greatest"? No, however I know many people that have it and still run it because it's all they need and find no need to "try to stay up with the latest software".

If you are asking if Photoshop 7.0 is good, I will summerize it like this....Just by asking that question, I will mention this one fact....It's enough to keep you busy for a long time to try to figure it out. It will satisfy everything you need to do (there are addons called plugins that you may want to look into in time). I would say get a book on it and check out youtube for tutorials. Enjoy it as it will be a great addition to all of your graphics needs.

have look there = a lot of easy to understand editing and photographing advice.
In particular check out - levels, curves, sharpening, histograms and noise. That will help a lot with editing and photography
