Phottix Strato TTL + Yongnuo 568EX II compatible?

Hey guys, I'm having some trouble with the new speedlites and triggers I just got. The flashes both work on my camera, and they work with my crappy old Neewer triggers (manual only). They also fire when I press the Test button on the Phottix transmitter (the lights on the triggers turn red too). When I try to fire the camera with the flashes on the Phottix triggers, nothing happens. The lights on the triggers turn green and stay lit a little longer, but no flash. Do I need to upgrade the firmware in the Phottix system, or am I screwed into buying Yongnuo triggers?

I'm betting I have it in the wrong mode. Grrr this is difficult.

should work with any trigger; if manual only triggers put the flash in M mode.

Actually... I went to the camera store. I took my camera and the triggers AND my flashes. Well, it turned out that the triggers work with just about any other TTL flash BUT my Yongnuos. Cute. Back they go.

Why didn't you just swap them out while you were there?

I bought them at a different store and one trigger from Amazon. Otherwise I would have.

I bought some Yongnuo triggers. I'm assuming they'll play nicely together.

Much success. Many win. Yongnuo triggers are actually fantastic quality and do everything I need them to do.
