Oooo - I like it. Yes, I think the stem adds to it.

Thanks! I thought so too, but I wasn't sure about it. In the test shots while figuring out the lighting it looked empty without the stem. But at the same time I wasn't sure if the emptiness would help to emphasize the lighting. But in the end I went with the stem because i liked the shadow it's casting.
