A quick B&W edit. I like to see better contrasts in B&W edits, so here's how I would make it look.

Ryan - Did I use flash on that pic??? I know some of the pics I took that day I did use flash, that must have been one of them. With my older son I'm lucky if he will sit there for more than 2 minutes, so I snap away, trying different settings , trying to learn.

I checked the exif and your flash did fire. I agree with the other poster that the ISO at 1000 might be a bit high, especially with the amount of white. I would stick with the original format. Having seen that, the rotated version looks too cropped to me, but maybe thats just me.
