Thanks for all the views.....any comments/critiques?

I like the first picture, maybe a little fill flash would help to insure a great print. On the rest I'd like to see you expose for the sky and use fill flash on your subjects. Your composition, framing and connection with your subjects seems very good just need to introduce more light and balance your exposures. :)

can you give me an example of what I could have done differently using one of my pics?

Picture number 6 is a prime example (notice the sky is blown out to the point there is no color or detail in it). You exposed for the face when you should have exposed for the sky and used fill flash.

Here is a pretty good example of what I'm talking about. The picture on the left is without flash and the one on the right with. :)

Advice for future posts, if you number the photos it makes it easier to comment. People are more likely to comment if there are less photos and they are numbered. That is what I have learned :)

As far as your pictures, I think you did a great job.
#1 I really like
#2 I'm not a fan of, but I can't point my finger on why. My eyes want to focus on their faces, but their faces are blurry. Anyone have suggestions on how to make the fingers more of a focus?
#3 might be my favorite,
#4, gorgeous
#5, is a great idea, I would like a different angle though. This one cuts off her elbow and there is a lot of his boring white shirt. Straight on might have captured better.
#6, bride is gorgeous here. Great capture of her expression and eyes

The second set
#1, creative and cute
#2, not a fan of their expressions.
#3, nice idea
#4 pretty, but has blown out sky
#5 feels too much like a snap shot. A head tilt by her, or laying on his shoulder, or them looking at each other, or something instead of straight on square shoulders.
#6 pretty.

Great job on these.
