Aim the camera down, too much dead space above the heads

Too much space above the subjects (children).

You might be shooting with the ISO set too high...seeing some noise in the shadows.

Images could use a touch more color saturation, contrast and sharpening.

400 ISO is too high? I thought the file were pretty clean even though I did notice some noise in the shadow right under the sleeves. I guess I could go down to 200 ISO but I didn't think 400 was gonna bring any noticable problem but I'll keep it mind next time.

400 ISO is too high?

For outdoor shots in good light...yes, it's too high. If it was dark and just about to rain then it would be fine. When the light is good you can use ISO 100 or 200.
