My 9 year old niece took this photo of my nephew and I on my Canon 5D. I know it's not all that sharp, but you gotta admit, it was a pretty good catch for a 9 year old. Maybe it runs in the family.

did you pre-set the settings for her or she do it? or was it in auto?
or was it just a lucky shot? lol
i'd deffinately let her tag along with you, she has some skill, if that is a snapshot... id love to see her Real shots

Yeah, I had the settings set to aperture priority for her. All she really needed to do was point the camera and fire. But I'd say on-the-fly composition is pretty impressive for someone so young. And you're right, it looks a little ridiculous in her tiny hands. She's interested in photography, but doesn't quite have the attention span to tag along with me yet.

Hopefully some day.
