It looks like you are trying to emulate a religuous painting.
The two color really seems off to me, as does the heavy vignette in the upper left.

Yes I was trying to go for the religious vibe, I did not want to say anything in hopes that someone would pick that up.

I guess Lew got it.
The upper left black vignette does bother me also because he is gazing in that direction and you stopped him. He suppose to be gazing out of the frame, don't limit his gaze.

It seems that you enjoyed playing with this image, I would f.e. backed of a bit and try to do something with a texture applied.
