I'm spending the night at my parents' house, which I hadn't planned on doing. I have no laptop, no books to read, nothing to do. The worst part is, I have a camera full of potentially amazing pictures, and no card reader or cable to download them. *sigh*.

There are clouds, so I can't take any good sky shots. No tripod either. No exciting city lights. Plus I have to be up at 430 so I can get back to Phoenix in time for work in the morning. Just a generally dull night...

Maybe it consoles you to hear that where I am it is a cheerfully bright morning with not one cloud in the sky! (Already. Yes. It is 7 a.m. here).

Indeed. I woke up that early once. I told myself the sun was on the wrong side of the earth, and went back to sleep.

That sucks about being stuck out at your parents. I hate visiting my parents, not because I don't like hanging out with them, but because they live so far away, and at night after they've all gone to bed, I'm sitting up with nothing to do. That's really the case no matter where I am, though. I hate just being out of my home comfort zone.

But if your parents live north of Phoenix, at least you got out of the heat for a while! If not, then nevermind.

I woke up at 430. 430!! I didn't even realize the world existed that early.

I love going out to see my parents, but usually I bring the boy and he drives home so I can sleep (awww). It was cloudy so I didn't get stars, but it is too early for monsoon so I didn't get rain either. Bad deal all around. And it was hot

But I'm home now, and back to work and school and all that less-fun stuff...

Crap! I'm home, and I wanted to download my pictures before work, and I still can't find the frickin' card reader!!
