Pig on the street

This was in downtown Brattleboro, VT, can't say I've ever seen someone walking a pig on a leash before I was chatting with his owner and he was a character. I wish I got a portrait of him with his pig but people kept talking to him and it was a 1000 degrees out so I had to leave. Woulda shoulda coulda. C&C if you wish.

Do you have a photo of the pig AND the owner walking it on a leash? I think that would make the photo waaay more interesting.

Pigs are pretty clever animals when small like that and not given credit where due....and they make a great meal, what's not to love?

and yeah I couldn't help but think of my love of bacon conflicting with my inner hippy animal lover self. I think I told the guy he better promise he's not going to eat the poor pig when he's too big. I don't think I have to worry, they were very much in love these two!
