Pink Lady

I spotted this beauty in the morning light next to a drainage ditch just off the side of SR 674, which runs through Sun Center. She posed so well for me.

How do you know it is a female, Kirk? These are not to be seen around here!

Certainly well captured but it looks like the DRL was not practiced in post.

Female, male, what does it matter these days? After reviewing the pic a 2nd time the lighting/color looks off. It was underexposed and I just made it worse.

Not being a birder, I like to discover the dimorphism strategy of species.

It was underexposes and I just made it worse.

Not under exposed by far, Kirk. I just applied now the DRL
and. with no recovery of any kind, got a good result.

I'd be happy with that rendition and I'd be even happier if we had such a beautiful bird here cavorting through the hills and glens
