I like the crop, #1. Nice range of tone, interesting lines and texture.

#2 helps show the scale, but the walls tend to diminish the effect, IMO.

They certainly have texture, tonal range and good lines. The second has a bit too much on the left that isn't pipes, so that probably ought to be cropped.
