Planning to Buy Nikon D7100

Im planning to buy a D7100. I take pictures of wildlife, macro and landscapes.

Here is what I plan to buy -

Do I have to make any changes? Im on a budget so where can I save some cash?

We talked enough about the lenses and I totally support buying the D7100 its an AWESOME camera but I bought mine for 1050$ here, see if they can price match it.

FYI it is a Canadian site and since you buy from India then you dont care where the camera comes so maybe they will come down in price, 1200$ is pretty much full price on the body.

I have 1 doubt... How does the 40mm f/2.8 Macro compare to the 85mm f/3.5 macro? What are the Pros of the 85mm

I am getting $300 off on the lenses if i buy from B&H

Wish could answer that but I dont own a macro lens and dont think I know enough about these 2 macro lens enough to give you any info, I am sure better people then me on the forum will be able to help you with that

Probably not and you are risking also getting hit with extra taxes in the border, aint worth to ship it to the USA from Canada but maybe you can price match.
Price matching is a very common thing in North America, look for a better priced US site for the D7100 and see if they will price match it.
The shop where I bought my camera is this............

So as you see they also are asking full price but after I showed them the asking price in Black's they matches the price and I saved 150$, same thing I did with my Nikon G15 and my Nikon 50mm 1.8G
Being a smart customer can save you A LOT of money.

Nikon 85mm Macro - $527

Sandisk Extreme 16GB 2 Kit - $37
Lowepro Nova 190 AW - $70

TOTAL = $2793

As you can see its higher than the B&H Combo.
Also with the D7100 in B&H im getting free accessories worth $90, i.e Ruggard Outrigger 45, Watson EN-EL15, Sandisk 16GB Extreme
