I like this. I like how the peeling paint and dirty wall indicates a building in decay, yet we see there is still a sign of life by the green plants on the windowsill. I'm not quite sure about the angle of the shot, but in this case, I don't feel it harms the image all that much. just my two cents

has a nice feel to it mike. simple plants, simple environment taking some light from a window and cheering up what could be a dismal atmosphere. Gives off a certain vibe of the potential occupier of the place as well. Hard to pin down, but i like the feel of this.

I think you are right.

it would lose the duality (is that the right word?) of the windows offsetting the plants.
