After almost two months on the road, I am finally back home and ready to post again! Taken in Asturias last fall, this is beautiful Playa de Mexota at Sunset. Leica SL, Voigtlander 15mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thanks for viewing, best regards Vieri
I thought the same thing. Good structure in the water works so well for this image. Very dramatic. I wondered about the exposure time. Maybe around 1/2 second?
Thank you very much, glad you enjoyed the photograph and the choice of shutter speed! Thank you very much! Yes, I wanted to use a shutter speed that allowed me to "create" leading lines for the sea stack where there weren't any: as such, too long a shutter speed would not have worked as well as a 1/2 sec did. Glad you enjoyed it! Best regards, Vieri
Love the depth and the symbolic motion of the water coming towards the viewer... beautiful image! Asturias and Cantabria are on my short list of places to visit in the next year or so - being Spanish myself it's a bit embarrasing that I don't one of the most beautiful regions in Spain! Last month I was in Alicante riding motorcycles and I loved it - both the coast and the interior.
Thank you very much, I am glad you enjoyed it! About Asturias and Cantabria, they are both amazing regions as far as landscape possibilities. I don't know Alicante very well, I just passed through on my way to Andalucia, but what I saw was beautiful but very different from the North Coast which I think is much, much wilder (and therefore much more to my liking, by the way) Hello Nancy, glad you enjoyed the photograph About your questions: I don't, I wash my tripod's legs in fresh water when I am done and, every once in a while, I do a complete disassemble / clean / grease / reassemble. About steadiness, it depends on the ground I find of course Hope this helps! Best regards, Vieri
