Playing with Elements

I used two photos I'd taken several years ago and decided to play around with them. I'm learning how to use Elements and little by little, I think I'm figuring it out. The fantasy pics of children are interesting to me and I'd like to get better at them. Any cc would be welcome. Thanks in advance.

That's not bad! The WB on the child's skin seems to be off slightly (appears to have a very mild green cast on my monitor), but the only real issue I see is the DoF (or lack thereof) in the flower. If think if the foreground petals were completely sharp, it would be a nice image indeed. When you're shooting the images for the composite, have the final product in mind, including the direction the child is facing, various elemental DoFs, etc.
