Playing with Macro's today

I decided that today I had a few minutes, so I took my 100mm Takumar 1:2 macro, hooked it up to my Vivitar 2x converter, and gave it a go. Here's what I got. I used my pet Dragon Fly as my model. No P.P. straight out of camera.

The 2*TC has doubled your magnification so you should be shooting around 1:1 (full and proper macro). looks like image quality has been preserved with the lens - definatly something to have a lot of fun with
Though now your depth of field is very fine so you have to get good at getting the right angle on a subject (that takes practice - lots of it).
