I'm enjoying it - i had a canon rebel t3 for 9 months before I upgraded.

i've thought about switching to nikon because the d700 looks SO great... but i've already invested in canon lenses. i guess you just sell them, but...

i don't know, i thought using a nikon would be counter-intuitive, but i caught up fast enough. any learning curve for you?

There is a learning curve but it's not as big as I feared, I just received it Tuesday and I've already learned a lot. If you know the basics - metering, achieving exposure using aperture shutter speed and ISO then it's just learning to adjust those a little differently. My biggest challenge is learning how to set up the basic menu items to give me the best result.
