Please critique some of my selected photos

Thanks in advance for your feed back. These are some shots I've taken while on vacation. I have some beginner equipment, Nikon D50, Nikon 50mm 1.8, Nikon 70-300mm non-VR. One of these days I will bring a tripod on the trip. I am trying to learn the art of composition. These have all been touched up in Lightroom so let me know if I went overboard too.

I am no expert so I can't comment much more except that I think these are great landscape images! Where did you go on vacation?

For your level of experience with your equipment I think you did darn good.
Looks like some fun places to visit.

They look good. Number four is a little heavy on contrast but not by much.

1 is from my honeymoon trip to Costa Rica. This was the beach at Tamarindo.
2 is from a backpacking trip to Rocky Mountain National Park, CO. It was an overlook off of Rt. 34 between Estes Park and Grand Lake. A great drive when it is open.
3-5 is from a backpacking trip the following year through Teton National Park, WY which I highly recommend visiting.
