Please Help

Hi,

This is my first post so any help would really be appreciated.

I have picture which is of me in Portrait which I want to convert to Landscape due to Facebook Timeline Cover Photo dimensions are 850×315 (850px wide and 315px height)

What is the best way to do this?

You may be better served by inquiring in the digital area of the forum. But a quick way to do this would be to create a new blank image in photoshop or other imaging program that is bigger then your current image. Then copy and paste your image into the new image creating a larger canvas size. Crop the image horizontally as desired and fill the background with a complimenting color.
