Pll from outside the US who visit...

I want to know what do you think about the subject of getting your picture and fingerprint taken when you go into the US? I'm dreading the day I have to go back for bussines, not too interested in being in a data base were they have not only my writen info, but my picture and my finger print... it all died in the news after a while, is it still in place?
