With these cameras the problem is not blades, as they are usually close fast enough and do not extend when closed, but the retracting lense that sucks the air inside the camera, leaving dust on the sensor.

Thanks everyone. I will try a bladed lens. Not many have manual exposure controls anymore, I guess few use them. I am considering the canon 710, although it is a bit big.
