Polarized Velvia?

I know either a polarizing filter or a color-heavy slide film like velvia will yield really saturated colors. Has anyone used them in combination? Good results or too much saturation?

I use Velvia for pretty much all my landscape work, and I often use a polarizer with it. I've never had a problem with too much saturation

You will get some beautiful rich and saturated colors. You may have to bump up a stop or so being you will be loosing one with polarizer.
