Here are a few of my favorite pictures from when I attended Police Week this year. The two of the Capital Building is using the 70-300 on a tripod. The rest are hand held. The pictures are from the Memorial Service, Candlelight Vigil and Honor Guard Competition. I was able to take the candlelight vigil ones because Rafterman suggested my first fast lens... Hope you guys like them... The little girl is using a crayon to transfer the name of a fallen friend of her fathers on to paper...

I tracked him down and sent it to him. He was pleased. Thanks.

The colors are so vivid in these I love it...Also its way cool that you sought him out and gave him a copy of that photo...

Nice collection. Makes me proud!

Coming from a retired firefighter, very nice collection.

Sent from my iPad using PhotoForum

Excellent set. I was bummed I couldn't make it this year. I was supposed to ride in the escorts again, but the schedule just didn't allow it last minute.. Glad you captured these moments to share with those of us who didn't make it.

My pleasure. Glad you guys like them.

Coming on TPF it both humbles and inspires me to see the caliber of photos that people are taking everyday. You are a great photographer and a great person for tracking down that police officer and giving them a copy.
