    hi,
I have been gone for about 6 weeks and good to be back.
I have come across an idea using QR and wanted some feedback. Since I am not techie, I have never used QR. of course, it may also have to do with my age :)

Any thoughts /info you want to post is appreciated. This is my 1st poll, so I hope I offered a good selection.
    Thanks for voting

QR is kind of obsolete. You have no vote for that. Never really took off like it was thought it would. Sensor technology is where things are going.

Respectfully Nancy, you are not a techie but are looking for input on a highly technical subject. Google is your friend if you want to learn more about sensor technology. I am not sure what you are doing or planning on doing. You throw out a generic poll and many people will be aloof to what this thread is about so I wouldn't expect a huge response. QR for what? For what goal? How can it be implemented?

O.K., now you can see which one I voted for.

Good Grief! You guys make me go to Wikipedia more than.. well... lots anyway.

So that's what that is! Now how would a person not engaged in manufacturing use it, and why would you?

Your poll needs an "Indifferent" option. Probably handy for those who use them, inoffensive for those who don't.

    Here we goooooo!

    SEARCH_Manfrotto QR plate.jpg

The "old" style were all pentagonal, as I recall...now they have rectangular and square ones. It has been years since I owned and used a Bogen/Manfrotto 'pod that had a QR plate type head on it.
