Can you make a category for me? I use Canon cameras (although I do have a Nikon, a Pentax and a Sanyo), use a Samsung dumb phone, an Ipod Touch 4 and a Blackberry Playbook 16 GB. Got them all?

I relaize this is just a sampling of TPF members who chose to click on the poll but I'm surprised the numbers favor the Nikon/ iOS. All those Occupiers with their iPhones had Canon in their hands.

Excel is cheap though... and will do the same thing I used it in statistics and it worked well enough to get me an A.

SSPS is really design for large samples, like if you had a questionnaire with twenty range items and like 5,000+ respondents. I know it's a lot easier to use for that sort of thing, like when you need to correlate large data sets with multiple variables being used to determine one thing. My wife used it to correlate global and specific just world belief with family structure. She had like 10 questions which had to be analyzed to predict the respondents belief in a just world, and how that just world belief applied to them and to others, then correlate it to things like birth order, siblings with disabilities, parent's marital status, etc. You could probably do this in Excel, but it's a lot easier in SSPS and if it were a "real" research project with several thousand respondents, I'm pretty sure excel would get pretty bogged down.

Though, for this, with only two variables, Excel would work more than fine.

You all might think this isn't super important and what a frivilous poll. But the Nikon S800 just came out with Android loaded on it. Will a phone ever come out with iOS loaded I doubt it but it's possible. It won't be long before the first DSLR is out with Android loaded on it. Think of the possiblities, not talking about social sharing here, mostly post processing and organizing in camera.
