In answer to Mark, well I didn't really do that much to the photos in Pshop. All the pictures were taken with natural light next to a window, so they were very vivid and made the baby's eyes shine, and they had a good reflection of the window, too.
I desaturated the pictures in Pshop to begin with. I then adjusted the contrast, made it quite high, and then adjused the levels to get that very sketchy-look. I sharpens the baby's eyes and mess around with levels/contrast again until I got the look I wanted. In the 4th one, I smudged/blurred the skin slightly to help bring out the eyes. I softened some of the edges on all the pictures, too, using the smudge tool.

though it doesn't sound like much done in photoshop, tweaking anyone of those steps you mentioned can really have a huge impact on a photo (even its subtle). Well done and cheers for sharing!

Wow thoes are some amazing photos! I like how the eyes stand out.
The last two are super duperlicious!
Just some PS tips if you want (if you already know these things then just discard it to me babbling...): you can also sharpen the eyes more that everything else in the pic by using any sharpen tool a lot then take a snapshot and go back the open image (under history) select history brush and click the box on the left (right next to where it says snapshot 1 or whatever u called it) so the little hist. brush icon appears in it. Then on the original image paint over the eyes.
One other thing, if you have neat image or get it can give people a very soft, porcelainy look too.

Wish I could move around in Photoshop so effortlessly. For me, everything is a major accomplishment. But, it'll come with much more practice--not to mention the great tips I'm getting here.

For my tastes the second and third picture are the best. Innocense fills all the pictures very nice to capture the youthfulness of the baby. In the second what really stands out is the curiousity of the child looking off to the side. In the third, well... it is just really cool since it looks like a doll.
