portable backdrop?

Any suggestions on what looks fab as a backdrop when you have to shove all your gear in your car? I can't very well be lugging a 3metre long, heavy roll of studio paper backdrop around. What fabric is best to use to get that crisp, crinklefree, professional backdrop look. ???? Ideas? sizes? suggestions please. Thanks in advance.

All I have experience with is a 10x20 white muslin. I take a small spray bottle of water with me, Lightly fold it up and when I open and hang the backdrop I lightly dampen the muslin and as it dries majority of the wrinkles come out of it.
