I've finished my portfolio, built in wordpress. Check it out samueljustice.net, it's pretty lean on content. But feel free to subscribe if you use google reader! I promise good times for all.

The site layout is simple and easy to look at, but it's very slow to load. I almost clicked away before it finished.

The first couple of pictures, while the composition is good, don't have much color and lack pop. The others are good.

WEbsite is not slow, you are slow, Site/ pages and pictures loaded instantly for me

Yours isn't the first site to complain about that. You should call them and tell them about it. I did that when I got my Godaddy site and they fixed it within a few days. There's not enough going on there that it should be that slow.

It's NOT slow. It loaded as a typical web page with graphics should.

Ok so yeah it did load quickly for me. Other than that, as far as the website, I like it. I'd probably change the "personal" part to just "Portofolio" then put "landscape, portraits" etc

I have my site up on godaddy.com also, but wondering, did you do the whole thing out of scratch or do they have similar pre-done sites for photographers like WIX?

I've got a commercial section coming which is why there's a personal one at the mo. I used Viso Viso - WordPress - ThemeForest but it took about a week of altering and coding to get it working fully.

I loved the pictures! You're a really amazing photographer. I like the layout, it's simple and it loaded fast in my computer. Maybe I'd recommend adding something light to the design because I believe it's too dark and it doesn't match your style, since most of your pictures are bright and colorful

Wow thanks for the kind words man! I owe everything to this forum, stick around here! The knowledge shared is priceless yet it's all free. I'll see what I can do to brighten it up a bit.
