Portland, Maine. Damn cold and getting dark, wish i had a bit more detail to the rocks but oh well.

These are lovely! I like the softness of the water, as well as the lights. From this viewpoint, you can't tell how freezing cold it is.

You live there? A spot down by the boat launch. Had to find a spot that had bright sky behind the skyline.

The water is soft because of the wind that was blowing at me! My hands were numb after the first couple shots.

well yeah actually. because I see the tv station, recognize the buildings. Casco bay ferry (we use the ferry occasionally going out to the islands) but I couldn't really place exactly where you were standing. when you took it.

you need to fix that horizon lines #2 and#3 are leaned to the left, #1 to the right
I like the most #2 then #3 then#1
#1 wish it has more of the foreground, less of the sky
#2 vice versa
#3 I liked on the first sight but when I started to think about it , it just doesn't seem balanced, but I have no idea what could I suggest you to try.

Thanks for the I comments. I tried using my in camera level and I guess it wasn't very accurate.

Have you considered cropping in a little from the top and the bottom? I know you have some cool textures in the sky and water, but I think you have more than you need to make the point, and the horizon is lost in all of these, IMO.
