Portrait C&C

Took some pictures of my sister today. From the road the "flowers" looked good for a shoot. They were some kind of weed with horrible spikes on them!
I know, i know. Knarly Sun Flare...kinda kills them, but still hoping for some C&C not having to do with that one BIG obvious mistake

2. I've been trying to get a good B&W conversion process, how does this one look? Too much Contrast?

Hopefully i can get back out there again sometime this week and fix my mistakes.

1) You need fill light to bring up her face, the sky and hills in the background are too blown out, her pose and position in the frame is kind of boring.

2) I don' t like where you amputated her right arm and cut off her left fingers, again the sky and hills are featureless, not a fan of fake B&W

3) Better cropping and more natural expression, lighting is flat, again the hills and sky are featureless
