Portrait Of A Great Blue Heron

[K9Kirk]

A redo of a shot from a couple years ago. I have so many decent RAW shots from the past that were ruined by an editor with mud in his eyes. I hope that mud is gone now.

That's fantastic! It has a lot of character.

Thanks, Jeff. That's what I thought of the bird with those feathers sticking up on it's head like that.

Looks like he's having a Bernie moment...

Are you using the Tamron or the Sigma 150-600mm for your bird shots?

It's the Tamron SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD.

OMG, you're cracking me up over here! It's eerily uncanny! Put some glasses on him, make him squawk and he's the Bernie of birds.

I'm in a tug of war between the Tamron and the Sigma. The Sigma Contemporary has an edge at the moment. Is it just me, or are the manufacturers cartelling and price fixing here in the US? It's a racket, I tell ya!
