This gent was more than happy to volunteer to have his picture taken at the taxi rank at the Bab Al Bahrain. By a bizarre coincidence, later that day, we saw him pulling up in his taxi outside the Diplomat where Anne-Marie and I were staying.

A face full of character. How nice that he was cooperative (heck, you say he volunteered!)

How is it that he has hair sticking out of the turban? [I take it it's not a traditional turban?]

the taxi driver volunteered to be pictured?!
now that's rare to see, taxi drivers in Bahrain are always in bad mood and always fighting with other taxi driver L.O.L

He seemed quite happy when I met him. He was even talking with a younger driver sat next to him (maybe we'll see him later). Perhaps it was because he was at the front of the queue and was due the next fare. He even directed me towards a cafe further into town where I could get some good shots, though I never actually made it there. The shot was taken right next to the arch in the White Gate.
