I like the color of the face/hat, but the shirt is much better in B&W. I'd say B&W if I had to pick. Alternately, maybe desaturate the shirt, because otherwise my eye is drawn to the blue, rather than his face.

I'd have to agree with Stelle...I love the hat and his face in color but the blue shirt throws me off...nice photo though!

Thanks for the feedback everyone... how does this one look? I toned down the blue shirt - Is it too off now? I blurred the pattern as well... did I just make it stand out more?

The black and white is my favorite, the closer crop adds more, too. The eyes look great, very nice.
