One of the first snaps I took with my new Canon 50mm f/1.4 lens. This was taken outside at a football stadium. The lighting was less than optimal but the 50mm lens gathers a lot of light so it wasn't a problem. ISO 400, Aperture f/7.1, Shutter 1/80. I'm forcing myself to use full-manual mode to get a better understanding of exposure. This lens is a great learning tool.

Hi Darren and welcome to TPF

This is a pretty good candid portrait. Eyes are sharp as they should be. Colors look good. My only complaint is there are a couple of blown out areas (nose and under right eye).
