Great pose, and while I'm not usually a fan of any kind of elaborate framing work, this works pretty well. Couple of things I do notice though, and this may partly be due to my monitor--it's new and needs dialed in properly: There's a blown out area all along the camera-right cheek and neck. Also, the line in the background is a bit distracting, as it rises right from his head.

It reminds me of the 50-cent foto booths at a penny arcade. That's the look you were shooting for, right?

Great effort. But it's so contrasty that yes, it's a bit blown on the subject's face. But cool idea, definitely worth another try!

I just dinked around with contrast too much. My moniter is a bit dark and about to die so it looked good on my screen.
