A couple of portraits I was recently hired to take for another photographer. I used one of my favorite studio lighting techniques, which is to place a flash with a very large modifier (in this case an octa-box) behind the person I'm photographing and aimed right at their back/into the camera for a nice pure white background and a wrap-around lighting effect, with a diffused beauty dish as the main light and a reflector for fill from below the model's face.
Shot using an original Canon 5D with a Canon 100mm f/2.8 lens.
