Top notch... the last one must be freaking cold.

Yea it was. We were in Alaska, and up there, the water never really gets warm enough to swim in. So the model was definitely a trooper for being able to pull that shot off.

MMhh.. Everyone has their own opinion but saying stuff like this to other photographers wont do you any good. Besides, you don't need to be a photographer to give a critique.

The skin looks a little overprocessed to me, in the "wild hair/makeup" photos. I realize this is a look you're going for, so a bunch of chest hair isn't going to work, but I feel like you've photoshopped out too much stuff, especially on the lower parts of the frame. In at least one it feels like you pretty much removed breasts.

I like #7 and #8 quite well. They don't feel like someone copying some other photograph.

I get that a lot. As if I the ability to make good photographs has much of anything to do with the ability to critique them. Now I have to write a novel before I can talk about novels?

This comeback is the refuge of someone who simply doesn't like what they're hearing.

I do also have to say that this is one of the poorest types of arguments.

Just like a movie critic doesn't have to be able to make a blockbuster to critique...well...it works the same way in other areas.

I don't have to be able to cook to know what combinations of ingredients tastes good.

Being all offended by an opinion that in my opinion isn't even that brutally critical doesn't help anyone.

Also using "U" instead spelling out a three letter word makes me doubt your credibility with being competent with the English language. Not really, but this is the Internet so claiming no credibility is...kind of a bull**** claim much of the time.

Truly Inspiring. I have only been taking photos for a little over a year now, but these are the types of portraits I would like to work towards. I do agree that for my eye personally I would like to have seen the 7th pic cropped tighter, but I feel there was reasoning behind the composition, whether that being because you wanted the supports to frame her or you just wanted the F-bomb at the bottom in the shot haha. But seriously, great work. Congrats.

anybody noticed the "F word" on pic #7...? yellow graffiti just below her feet. People might get offended, just a thought.

I love pic #8 and #10 that model makes me forget about the white water (overexposed?) at shoulder line, the background is beautiful, yet not utilized... maybe intended as high key photo ?

Thanks doll. and I hadnt noticed the f-bomb til u said something. those pillars were CRAZY tagged with horrible language tho. It was awful.
