Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Can anyone recommend a good, not too heavy book full of poses and such? It should be elegant and discreet for showing to both customers and models. Preferably with drawings/sketches rather than pictures. Thanks! :D

I am really looking for a book!

Yeah but this is not really what I am looking for. For example my uncle has a very old book with sketches which he shows his models before painting them. I don't want a tutorial book, I want something that's more like an index of poses - no text.

You could compile your own book in some ways. Even by purchasing a binder and sheet protectors..collect sketches and images of poses you like and put them on in it. Better yet, as you take photos and people pose in ways you like use those images to build a book for new people. Then they can see your work and how the poses turned out. Just a thought.

Then I suspect you'll be looking for quite a while. I doubt such a book as you describe exists. Few authors or publishers would produce such a book - without text - because it would not sell very many copies.

Over time I will!

Can I politely suggest that if you pose your subject your pictures will look unnatural and fake. Try getting your subject to move into lots of different positions quickly, when reviewing your images you will build up a bank of positions that work and how you got them. You can tell a posed picture a mile off. An unconventional opinion I know but its the only one I have.

I've tried both.

Unless the shots are candids, the model or subject must pose.

That is, if they know they are having their picture taken, they gotta pose. And, you as the photographer have to pose them. Just one more thing to learn. Like F stops...
