I like it. I did a similar effect on a seagull awhile back by making some parts of the subject blend with the bg.

I like it. I did a similar effect on a seagull awhile back by making some parts of the subject blend with the bg.

This uses the Threshold filter in PS, it's really handy. Anything below 50% gray it turns black anything above goes pure white. Has sliders much like levels that allow you to adjust.
