Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I'm slightly longsighted so I need to wear glasses when looking at things close up.

Whilst this isn't a problem at all when I'm shooting normally it is a complete ***** when I'm trying to shoot close-ups or when I'm trying to check my LCD in good detail.

Surely I can't be the only longsighted photographer here... what do you do to combat this problem?

Have you fooled with your diopter next to your viewfinder?

Probably being a bit stupid here but... my what??

It's a little wheel next to your optical viewfinder. It's for fine tuning it so that people with vision issues can see through the viewfinder correctly. It may be what you're lookin' for.

Found it.
Well... I never knew I had one of those!

Didn't work though as it was already at it's maximum (minimum? All the way to the bottom anyway...)

Thanks for the idea though

Also, I just checked through all of my Nikon stuff and can't find a manual.
I am NOT having a clever day today. Does the D3000 come with a paper manual or will I have to run the CD for one?

Is not "running" the wheel to max, but slightly adjust it, until you see sharper object.
