Practicing my focus in the cold...

Since I can't do much else today, I decided to practice my focusing on some ice cycles. I realize the colors might not be everyone's taste, but it was fun!

So I finally post something with what I think is decent focus and everyone goes quiet? :biglaugh:

that's one thin DOF
which makes the iclicles OOF but the ice above in one sliver in focus.
background is nicely blownout.

I like all those vertical lines in the icicles but they aren't really in focus to me.

Yeah I took several shots playing with aperture and this shot just looked the best to me. The focus is really on the center ice cycle. I was just practicing and this one stuck out.

I was just kidding with the comment above btw. I just found it funny that I get a lot of negative comments and this pic didn't get any feedback.
