Sunrises are definately one of my favourite things about living in Alberta!
Whereabouts in "east calgary" did you take this from? if you don't mind my asking

Heading east on 22x first right passed 52st, all the way to the end.

Good spot for hawks, I saw a bald eagle there last mth,(theres one often on power poles at Diamond cove) there are snowy owls reported in the area. deer coyote, and of course geese.

Beautiful light in that shot, nice colours and compo, and I like how some of the barbed wire is 'sidelit'. Well done!
