Predeployment gift.

My husband gave me this rose as a gift just before he deployed last week.

Very nice picture and cool composition idea. :thumbup: I just wish the background is more decisive and consistent; or bright or dark. But I guess it was quick shot.

It was. He gave it to me on our back patio area where I was doing some yard work lol... It doesn't have a proper roof, just slats so you get all kinds of weird shadows.

How long your man will be away ? Long enough for the rose to dry ? If so maybe continue the story of this rose with a similar shot after he comes back.

Yes the rose may dry. But that wont matter when your back with your guy .
