Pricing for large acrylic prints

Hi everyone, first time poster here (my question led me here but am excited to stay). Anyway, I was hired to provide some large acrylic prints for an apartment building’s recreational floor. 9 total prints, each one 36”x48”. They’re all of my hometown on Hartford, CT where the property is located. Each print was about $360 for me to purchase. I know the general rule of thumb for charging 3-4x the cost of production, but for a big job like this one (at least the biggest one I’ve had) I’m wondering if I should price it a little differently. I’m not a business minded person and really just shoot for the love of it, but I don’t want to under sell either. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated! Here are a few of the photos.

Not yet, I haven’t purchased the prints at this point. Waiting to give a quote to the client.

I’m no expert, and I’ve only sold about a dozen prints over the years so take what I say with a grain of salt.

If it all possible I would first ask them if they have a budget in mind for the work. Most people don’t understand the cost of producing large scale prints like that so they may come back with something really low that won’t be worth your time.

The printing cost is pretty high so I don't think you will get 3-4 times for them. Depending on what they say, you may only be able to do a 30-40% markup. If you can make their budget work I would also ask if they mind putting a small sign next to the prints giving you credit for the art work.

Just some thoughts ..... BTW, I used to live in Newington, I miss that area.

Oh nice! Yeah I’ve grown to appreciate CT/Hartford more as I’ve gotten older. It’s small but has a nice looking skyline
