The only way this shot could be more perfect is if it would have been playing.
It's a great shot, but I would have taken it from a lower angle.

Only as a last resort. I like to shoot stuff exactly as I find it. I try to look for the best possible angle without moving anything, and usually I find one that I like. In those rare cases that I can't make it happen without moving stuff around, I go ahead and move stuff. (This pet peeve of mine might keep me out of the photography hall of fame – who would want to induct a lunatic?)

The only way this shot could be more perfect is if it would have been playing.

I'm not a photoshoppery type of guy, but that would be hilarious. I wish I had the technical knowledge to do it...

Thanks. This is from October 2009 and I can't remember if I tried a lower angle. You might have a point, though.

i think the angle is perfect, it adds to the curve of the picture
at a lower angle it would be straight across, which would still look great, but not as good as the original

Just another Q........why did you choose to shoot the shot from a high angle down to the TV? My instincts tell me to shoot from the same plain as the TV. =) lol Am I getting a little too deep?

I think that shooting from the same plane as the TV gives you a bit of a two-dimensional view. You kind of see what I mean in the image I just posted above this.
