I have to print up 2 24"x36" prints for someone as a gift. I have the option to mount them on something and was thinking that doing so might not be a bad idea since it would make it easier to handle and whatnot, but it pretty much doubles the price of the print and I'm wondering if its worth the bother.

Part of me thinks it would be easier for framing and stuff later, but again... just dunno.

I was wondering if anyone had any advice to share on this.

Thanks as always!

Having it profesionally mounted will cost quite a bit but you could mount it youself on some foamcore or something if you can find any large enough.

Well, the question is do I need to, or is it kind of pointless?

Really, it only costs $50 more on a $45 print. Nothing to sneeze at, but nothing to agonize over either.

Well, it depends on what you think the receiver of the pics will do with them. If you think they will frame and then hang them, sure, get them mounted. But if you think that the receiver will enjoy them a while then pack them into the shed, I would not bother.

Ok. Thanks, all.

Wow, seriously... these flashing ads and such are annoying the heck out of me.

Me too. ANNOYING AS HELL... and now bombarded from 3 out of 4 possible sides. What a pita.
