Printing your photos

Im at a loss with figuring out what type of printing process to look at for when clients are wanting portraits taken.
Any thoughts on what types and brands of printers will give me the best best quality thats available.
Do you think Ink Jet or ?

I don't print very much but I think that inkjets are a bad idea if you want a high quality print, particularly if it's for a paying client. Typically they tend to be lower quality and can fade faster.

If I want something to a high standard I take it to a high street printers. They'll take images straight off a CF card and do a proper chemical print on them. They come out far superior.

dye sublimation printers are far superior in quality than inkjet....

If you're not doing this on a regular basis, and need large prints, why not send it out to a photo lab?

I plan on printing alote of pictures. So I think Ill look at the dye sublimation systems out there.
What brands would most of the professionals use?
