Editing recommendations for printing

So I had the opportunity in early summer to take as many photos as I wanted of an elderly relatives property. He used to be a mechanic in a semi-rural area and over the decades he'd amassed around 200 cars (some that haven't moved since the 60's) as well as a never ending supply of machine parts. Over a week I managed to take around 1500 photos (though could probably take another 1500).

Where I have gotten stuck is on how best to edit digital photos for printing, specifically how to edit so that all the photos feel consistent.

Any feedback and advice is welcome!
